Well, we have had persistant June gloom here in Los Angeles. Not the optimal condition for flying. So much for tanning before my trip to Hawaii next month! I snapped some photos of what we see in these conditions.
That would be overlooking Santa Monica in the top picture and Century City on bottom. I do like being up with the clouds. It is a delicious experience of glorious expansion and true freedom.
This was funny, before I took those shots above I tested my camera out for lighting. The camera decided the conditions were right for the flash. Never use a flash in the back of a moving helicopter. The pilot had to check his shorts after we landed. LOL!!!
I am glad to say that we have re-aquired one of the best news pilots out there. Johnny McCool. Look how “GQ” he is. Glad to have you back in my helo, Johnny!
