So much going on!  Fires, rain and fires again in So Cal… work has been busy!  But work is fun when you have a great crew.  Captain McCool at the helm.

No complaints from me.  Love flying with my Johnny boy.

All work and no play is not an option for this girl.  So let’s start with my trip to Pala, CA.  The town of Pala is home to the Pala and Stewart Mines which produce top-quality tourmalines.  And I am a rockhound so I made an appointment to hunt for said tourmalines at Gems of Pala.  My best friend Monika and her husband James (footage editor for the show) came along for the adventure.  Monika with a shovel… LOL!

I actually found two tourmalines: one light pink (pictured below) and one very dark green.

I absolutely LOVE the old Airforce trucks in the background.

My next adventure involved some friends and I and our motorcycles in the Malibu Hills.  It was a beautiful and fantastic day to ride.  We stopped briefly to hike up to a lookout point.

This is Kurt Deetz.  I just adore this man.  Always happy and always positive.  He recently had a run in with cancer which he bravely fought and beat.  You are an amazing man, Kurtsy!  Kisses.

Last, I had to share a picture of a geocoin that was left in one of my geocaches.  Meet the Herpes Simplex Labialis Virus.  LOL!  This is the most hilarious thing I have ever seen in a geocache!  Apparently my cache had been infected and I have Tom4Props to thank for this picture.  Tom4Props, thanks for passing this on!!!

Be safe out there everybody.  First episode should be up next month!
