TERRAIN: Wide trail. This is a hikers dream! The top of Kagel Mountain.
CACHE DIFFICULTY (1 – 5 being the hardest): Level 4 due to distance of hike.
LOCATION: Sylmar, California 91342
NOTES: THIS IS A BIG TICKET ITEM CACHE! For the FTF (first time find), there is a brand new Garmin Dakota 20 just waiting for you! This cache is located at the top of Kagel Mountain where you will find plenty of hang gliders. The road is well maintained, although it is gated so you will have to find a place to park and hike the lengthy trail. You will find car loads of hang gliders driving this path so watch for vehicles… and snakes. There will be lots of lizards crossing your path and the view is absolutely amazing. Enjoy!
ADVISORY: Due to fires and mudslides, the Garmin will NOT actually be in the container. The FTF will find an official Captain T. Morgan token inside with directions on how to redeem the prize. I am soooo excited for the FTF!!! 
HINTS: Once you find the wind sock, you are getting close.

Ben of benandjayme hiked up there today with the glimmer of hope that there might still be a clean log sheet and a new Garmin for his efforts…but alas it had already been found yesterday, around 5:30pm. Congrats to the FTF folks! Thanks for this fun little challenge Captain T. Morgan.
